I create original plays is because I believe theatre has the power to touch people's souls. The plays that impacted me most were the ones that lingered in my subconscious long after the show was over. They gave me hope, strength, and provided the light I needed to lead me out of difficult situations. It is my hope that my plays  do the same. I am committed to adding a new perspective and voice, and add diverse, rich, complex and familiar characters, to the fabric of American theatre.
